- RESIDENCIES: From January to June of 2012 Gordon is staying in Paris, France, thanks to the funding of the Canada Council for the Arts. In August/September of 2012 he has residency at the Künstlerhäuser Worpswede outside of Bremen, Germany, thanks to funding from the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony. (January, 2012)
- NEW WORK: A new work for 40 mean tone recorders will be premiered on February 25th, 2012 at the St. Michael's Church in Hildesheim, Germany, more info and festival details available at: Recorder 2.0: Blockflüte Internationale. (January, 2012)
- TEACHING As of November, 2011 Gordon has taken over composition teaching duties for the pre-college training program IFF of the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. He also continues to teach composition at the Hochschule, serving as a replacement for the vacant Professor of Composition position. (January, 2012)
